Meet the Heart Behind Coco-Nut's

My love for baking started long before I ever owned a bakery. Growing up in the Dominican Republic, I spent hours in my grandmother's backyard making little "mud cakes" under her coconut tree. I was always pretending to bake, decorate, and create something special. Looking back, I guess my love for cakes started right there.

Years later, that little girl's dream became Coco-Nut's Artistic Cakes & Cupcakes. It wasn't always easy, but with the love and support of my husband, a proud U.S. Marine veteran, I found the courage to take a chance and open the bakery. He believed in my dream from the very beginning, and I'm forever grateful for that.

In 2024, Coco-Nut's became even sweeter when my incredibly talented younger sister joined the team. Having her by my side has made this journey even more rewarding, and together we love creating beautiful desserts for our customers.

When I'm not in the bakery, I'm a proud mom to an amazing entrepreneur and talented wedding photographer, and an even prouder grandma to two wonderful little boys who keep life full of laughter and love.

Today, Coco-Nut's is more than just a bakery - it's a place where families celebrate birthdays, couples begin new chapters, and friends gather to make memories. It's an honor to be a small part of those moments, and we put our hearts into everything we create.
